Applying

Applications fror Class of 2026 will reopen in September.

Student Fundraisers

Fundraising is a requirement to be considered for a scholarship. There will be 3 fundraisers to choose from: Double Good Popcorn Sale, Canister collection for 2 hours outside a Teaneck business, or an online fundraiser through Zeffy Platforml. All fundraisers will take place in March and April. You will be contacted in early March to arrange for participation in fundraiser.

Interviews

Interviews with members of Selections Committee and scholarship donors are required and will be scheduled following receipt of application during March and April. Date and time of your interview will be sent to you. Interviews take about 15 minutes. If you cannot make your assigned time, contact us immediately to reschedule. Please check your email for any changes. Interviews will take place over ZOOM.

2026 Awards Ceremony

Our Awards Ceremony will take place at Teaneck High School, 3rd floor media center and via ZOOM . Students, family and friends are invited. Refreshments will be seved. Date TBA

THANK YOU NOTES

To show appreciation for the support of our donors, thank you notes will be required for all scholarships received before checks are sent out and will be due by the end of June. Stationery and instructions are found on Google Classroom

Payments

July 31, 2026 - Checks for full scholarship amounts will be issued directly to colleges.

If you are receiving financial aid, please check with the college or University you plan to attend to confirm that Community Scholarship Awards will NOT be deducted from your financial aid packet. If our award will be deducted, we can arrange to send your check directly to you once we receive a receipts showing payments or purchase for college expenses.
